Rise and Shine: Everything you need to know before the market opens

by Berkeley Lovelace

Good Morning passengers. This is your captain speaking…

Today, on Stockhead Flight THU 2,

Pretty annoyed at the record breaking cash of Qantas?

Had a stomach full of flying the friendly skies? Ready to strangle your own children at the next delay, cancellation or price gouge?

Longing instead for some Slim Dusty and an open highway?

Well, it seems you’re not alone.

Our Nadine McGrath says there’s movement afoot and the Campervan lending platform Camplify Holdings (ASX:CHL) is right out front, having just sucked up first half revenue some 83% more than this time last year.

The Aussie airline anger is real, according to Deanie, and she’s found a golden sweet spot on the ASX already making good on it.

Excellent work. Grab a pen. Take a look.

But first, the day ahead.

Rewardle (ASX:RXH) gained 22%. In the words of Stronach: There’s no particular reason for it, but today’s volume is about 28 times the four-week average, so something’s happening.

Mayne Pharma (ASX:MYX), found 20%. Most likely thanks to the Board’s decision to hang onto some capital for the “successful execution of our strategy [which] will see a return to profitability and restoration of value which is expected to drive future returns for our shareholders”. Done.

Minor iron ore miner CuFe (ASX:CUF) gained 19%.

Cygnus Gold (ASX:CY5) found 15.5% today, moving with the tide tugging at the various Canadian lithium plays and the market’s love affair with the battery metal sector.
