Sygnum, a global digital asset banking group, has partnered with Moomoo Singapore to offer its Digital Asset Multi-Manager Fund (DAMMF) on the latter’s trading platform.
The DAMMF, a high-conviction, diversified fund-of-funds, invests across established and emerging investment managers focused on liquid crypto hedge fund strategies.
It has a five-year track record as an early entrant in the crypto fund space.
According to Sygnum, this marks the first time an actively managed crypto fund will be available on a digital investment platform in Singapore.
Moomoo Singapore, which serves over 1 million users in Singapore, will make the fund accessible to its accredited investors through their relationship managers starting in the first quarter of 2025.
Both Moomoo Singapore and Sygnum Singapore hold Major Payment Institution licenses.
Echo Zhao, Country Head, Moomoo Singapore says,
“As digital assets enter the mainstream and gain widespread adoption, many high net worth clients now view digital assets as a key component of a modern and resilient portfolio. These clients are not just seeking diversification, but also the opportunity to capitalise on the huge growth potential of this asset class.
As the nascent digital asset market continues to evolve and mature, investors can look to active management to fully maximise the returns on their investments. We are confident that Sygnum’s expertise in this space will bring about significant opportunities for our clients.”
Gerald Goh, Sygnum’s Co-Founder and CEO APAC says,
“DAMMF was created to provide investors with the opportunity for long-term capital appreciation by participating in the crypto megatrend. By investing in DAMMF, one can expect to obtain exposure to a portfolio of broad crypto alpha sources, diversified across both strategies and managers.
At Sygnum, our mission from Day One has been to empower everyone to invest in digital assets with complete trust. This partnership with Moomoo is groundbreaking for the digital asset space and we are glad to be able to better support their clients in managing their exposure to this asset class.”
